This policy explains what information Starwood Properties collects through this website, why, and how it's handled. It covers this site only.

Who we are

Starwood Properties is a Dubai-based real estate agency. You can reach us using the contact details on our Contact page.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, a property brief, or a viewing request, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, and optionally your email address and any message or preferences (such as budget, areas, bedrooms, or timeframe). We don't ask for more than we need to respond to you.

If you use Maya, our AI chat assistant, the messages you send it are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a reply. We don't ask Maya to collect personal details beyond what you choose to share in the conversation.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange viewings, and help you buy, rent, sell, or let a property. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it.

How we store it

Enquiry details are stored in our secure database and are accessible only to Starwood staff who need them to follow up with you.

Third parties

If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is handled through WhatsApp, operated by Meta, under Meta's own privacy terms. If you chat with Maya, your messages are processed by Anthropic to generate a response, under Anthropic's own privacy terms.

Cookies

This site uses only the minimal technical cookies necessary for it to function, such as session and security cookies. We don't currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and follow up, and delete or anonymise them when they're no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact us using the details on our Contact page to make a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our data practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
